We host a family-friendly 5K fun walk/run promoting health, community, and togetherness—open to all ages and abilities with laughter, fitness, camaraderie, and memories made along the course.

In advance of every school year, we partner with the National City Police Department, the National School District and Costco, to provide students with essential tools backpacks, notebooks, pencils, and more to start the new school year confident, prepared, and ready to

Doing our part keeping our city clean is an act of volunteerism that we enjoy and take pride in. We have adopted a walking and biking pathway along the Sweetwater Flood Channel for people to walk, run, and ride while enjoying a cleaner, greener community. It’s our way of giving back and showing pride in the city we serve..

Each April, we solicit nominations to recognize a worthy volunteer who has gone above and beyond in helping our community members. We present them with our “Service From the Heart” award.

Key Club Scholarships
We award two Key Club seniors with a $1,000 scholarship each in
support of their college education.

Distinguished Scholars
Upon promotion, we recognize one sixth grade boy and girl from each of our ten elementary schools in the National School District. Students are presented a certificate and $50 gift certificate for their hard work, citizenship, and scholarship. Middle School students in the Sweetwater Union High School District are also recognized with certificates and gift cards.

We sponsor students from the National School District and purchase school uniforms, shoes, socks and undergarments. Students are selected by their schools for this support three times per year
